Dr. Evan Schiff
Dr. Evan Schiff is from Trumbull, Connecticut and received his undergraduate at Brown University in 1997 where he graduated with honors. He attended the University of Connecticut Medical School where he was awarded honors in clinical internal medicine in 2002.
With a faculty appointment and as a clinical fellow in medicine at Harvard Medical School, he completed his residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was awarded the senior resident David Frommer Award.
Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has been practicing primary care medicine in Connecticut since 2005. He is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine at UConn. A member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians, Dr. Schiff is also a local member of the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Hartford County Medical Association. Dr. Schiff is listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners as part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. He is also certified through the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. He sees adult patients for all general health issues and has interests in obesity, high blood pressure, asthma, cholesterol and diabetes. Dr. Schiff is an avid runner and piano player. He lives with his two children and his wife who is a pediatrician.
Dr. Helena Grabo
Linda Daniels-Miller, P.A.
Linda Daniels-Miller, P.A. is certified with the National Academy of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Connecticut Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Linda is a graduate of Livingston College, Rutgers University, with a Bachelor of Science. She then attended the United States Public Health Service Hospital Physician Assistant training program. Upon graduation she attended a Post Graduate Surgical Residency Program at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University. She then worked in the Surgical Department at Norwalk Hospital for five years. Linda then did post graduate work in Emergency Medicine at the University of Iowa. She has since worked in the Emergency Room, Occupational Medicine and Employee Health and Gynecology. Linda has worked in our office since 1992. She is married and has two children. She enjoys hiking, biking, gardening and singing with the Farmington Valley Chorale.
John C. Rossignol, P.A.
John C. Rossignol, P.A. is a graduate of Quinnipiac College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health. He then attended Southern Connecticut State University, working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant while receiving a Master’s Degree in Human Performance/Exercise Physiology.
John received his medical training as a Physician Assistant at Yale University. He has worked in Family Practice and Cardiology prior to joining our office in July, 2000. John lives in Simsbury with his wife and two children.
Kelley L. Lawton, P.A.
Matthew Carter, P.A.
Matthew Carter, P.A. received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst 2008. He later received his Masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Massachusetts. He went on to do research on breast cancer through Baystate Health and later did research on bacterial meningitis at UMASS in Worcester. He received his Physician Assistant education through Springfield College and was Board Certified in 2013.
Matthew Carter has years of experience working in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. He has interest in teaching and was director of Physician Assistant education in the Hartford Hospital Emergency Department. He also spent 3 years with faculty at Springfield College PA school teaching clinical skills and assessment. His clinical areas of interest are in diet, nutrition, exercise and mindfulness. His other interests include cycling, running, snowboarding. He is an avid guitarist, enjoys world travel, baking bread and cooking. He lives with his wife, son, and wiener dog Francis in West Hartford.
